Summer League Huntsville Area USTA Jr. Team Tennis

Registration now open for Summer USTA Junior Team Tennis.  Registration forms now available on line at www.hsvtennis.com under Junior Team Tennis or hard copy at HTC and HAC. Registration deadline is May 22, 2010.  For more information contact Irene Wisner;  irenewisner@comcast.net.

Summer League Huntsville Area USTA Jr. Team Tennis will begin June 1 through July 16.  Levels of play will be 12 & under Intermediate, 14 & under Intermediate and 18 & under Intermediate, match play will be Fridays mornings.  Practice time and location to be set by team Coach/Captiain.  Summer  fee is $55, which includes court fees, balls, matches, awards and Nike Dri Fit Team Shirt.  Junior USTA membership is required.

Scholarships are available from HATA (Huntsville Area Tennis Asso.)to cover fees and/or racket expenses. For additional information, contact: irenewisner@comcast.net.

HTC  Junior Tennis Camps

1^st – 5^th Graders

9:00 – 12:00(noon)

Your child will learn basic tennis skills, while building a foundation for future development and the perfection of their motor skills. There will be an emphasis on sportsmanship, and most of all fun.

6^th – 12^th Graders

9:00 – 12:00(noon)

This is for the players who have had some instruction and have played team tennis and/or tournaments.  We will work on all fundamentals using advanced techniques.  These techniques will then be implemented into match play, tactics, and strategies.
